The question arises: Does Compost Tea Really Work? Well let’s have our eyes be the judge of that, eh?
Here are a few experiments Full Circle Soils & Compost carried out with our all-natural PUNCH, an organic liquid “brew” for plants that acts as a booster and biological additive (a super high quality compost tea developed after years of befriending, living with and understanding the language and culture of red composting worms).

Here you see two apple trees. The left tree was sprayed with PUNCH twice over a one-month period. The right tree was our control tree and was not sprayed.

Here we have two tomatillo plants started at the exact same time. The one on the left had one single application of Full Circle Compost’s PUNCH organic liquid plant booster and the one on the right only had water. Both were watered regularly and both planted in the same SOAR potting mix from Full Circle. The growth differences are amazing.
Science break: The extra growth shows the power of the extra biology apparent in PUNCH and the active calcium getting directly to the plant through foliar feeding. Worms are the only creatures that excrete calcium. Calcium is one of the most important–yet, least talked about–minerals needed for extra plant growth. Why? Calcium can be considered the “delivery truck” of the soil that brings all other nutrients to a plant. You need a bunch of “trucks” in your soil to get needed nutrients to your plants in the most efficient manner. Now, you don’t learn that every day, do ya?

Here is another picture of flowers in front of Joyce’s Jewelry in Gardenerville, NV. The plant on the left was sprayed with one application of PUNCH with a hand pump sprayer. The plant on the right had no application of PUNCH. Applying a compost tea like PUNCH directly to the plant itself lets the leaves take in the nutrients and biology. Once again, does compost tea really work? – YES!

Last but not least, roses love compost tea. The plant on the right received 2 applications of PUNCH over a month time. Does compost tea really work? -YES!
